Language problems

Post by brjoha »

Hi, I just purchased the software but am having a small problem with language and a Disney Brave DVD (purchased in North America).

When I load the DVD, the software detects two movie titles though other software like DVD Fab8 detects many more. I can rip them with English audio, but any text in the movie (titles and credits) is in French.

How do I get the software to detect the English movie titles?

Hi,
You can select the right subtitles after loading the DVD in our program. We also sent screenshot to explain.
If the output movie complete, loading two titles does not matter.

Hello,

I think you have misunderstood the problem I am having. It's not subtitles, but the actual text within the movie, like titles and credits.

The DVD is Disney's Brave and was purchased in the North America region. It has English, French, and Spanish versions of the movie on it.

However, the software is only detecting title_06 and title_23, which have French text. For example, the movie title is shown as "Rebelle" instead of "Brave".

The audio is in English, but I would like to have the text in English as well. How can I get the software to locate the English version of the movie?

Hi,
Thanks for your quick reply and sorry for the inconvenience.
Our program will filter out some unnecessary titles, we recommend you to go "Tools-Options-Conversion" to change the setting of "Enable DVD Navigator" then save the settings to restart Leawo and re-load. If still not working, do you get the problem with other DVDs? Please right click the title list on Leawo to send us the bug reporter, then inform us on ticket.

Hi,

The checkbox for "Tools > Options > Enable DVD Navigator" was off, so I turned it on, hit "OK", and restarted the software. Unfortunately, the software now crashes while loading the DVD.

How do I use the bug reporter? When I right click on title_06, the bug reporter still has "E:\VIDEO_TS" as the file.

Here are the details of the crash...

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Please redownload the program from http://67.222.42.200/upload/Leawo/dvdripper_setup.exe , check and uncheck the "Enable DVD Navigator", restart Leawo to try again.
If not working, tell us the problem details here, and send us the bug reporter.
Yes, just select the "E:\VIDEO_TS" , enter your name and the correct email address, then click Report, then inform us here.
Happy New Year!

Ok, I have submitted a bug report.

I downloaded the software and re-installed. It still crashes if I check "Enable DVD Navigator", so I am leaving it unchecked.

Hello,

I installed the version (4.4.0.0) that was provided in the email by your support team, and it worked correctly after I enabled DVD Navigation.

Thank-you for all the assistance.
